Restaurang Lanternan

Restaurang Lanternan is located right by the beach at Byske Havsbad, with the sea in front of it and a large sun terrace where summer evenings often stretch out. It is a purely seasonal venue. Lanternan opens its doors when the campsite fills up with guests in mid-June and closes again in mid-August. The rest of the year it is quiet and closed. During those just over two months, however, Lanternan is one of Byske's liveliest spots. Here, campsite guests, summer cottage owners and Byske residents gather for classic restaurant food, such as grilled dishes, pizza, lunch and simpler plates, accompanied by beer, wine and cocktails. You can eat inside the restaurant or out on the terrace with a view of the beach, and the food is also available to take away. The entertainment is at least as important as the food. During peak season, after-beach events (socialising after a day at the beach) are on the schedule several days a week, often with an acoustic singer on the terrace, and later in the evening the venue turns into a nightclub. Lanternan is simply Byske's summer pulse, from the afternoon sun until late evening.
